Born 8//15/1901; died 1/8/1998 following a long illness in Woodland Hills, California. Perrin began his career in vaudeville as a drummer. Screenwriter for The Goldwyn Follies (1938); Navy Blues (1941). Writer for radio programs including episodes of The Phil Baker Show on CBS and NBC (1931?-1939); Show Boat on NBC (1932-37); The Tommy Riggs And Betty Lou on CBS (1942).

Writer for The Jack Benny Program on the NBC and CBS Radio Networks (1943- 1955), later headwriter for the program. Perrin followed the program to television on CBS and NBC (1950-1965). Emmy Awards in 1959 and 1960 for writing The Jack Benny Program on CBS.
