Spoiler : LeSueur, Larry (birth name was Lawrence Edward LeSueur) Born in New York City 6/10/1909; died 2/5/2003 of Parkinson's disease at his home in Washington, D.C. Married to Dorothy ? (1957-2003 his death). LeSueur was a third-generation newsman. His grandfather was publisher of the Times in Tama, Iowa, his father was a foreign correspondent for the New York Tribune. LeSueur was a graduate of the New York University, then went to work for Woman's Wear Daily in 1931, then was a reporter for The United Press New York (1932-1939).

Spoiler : LeSueur became "one of Edward R Murrow's boys" when Murrow hired him in 1939 to be a CBS-Radio foreign correspondent. Shortly after WWII began, LeSueur became a close assistant to Murrow in London for Murrow's "London After Dark" radio series.
