Cohan is remembered for writing many popular tunes, that are still played and used in productions today, including the WWI ditty, Over There, for which President Franklin D. Roosevelt awarded him a congressional medal. Radio debut as a guest on The Collier Hour for NBC-BLUE (1929). Substitute host, that replaced Will Rogers briefly on The Gulf Show (aka The Gulf Headliners Show) on CBS-Radio (1933). Writer and producer of The Free Company, a short lived documentary drama that was broadcast in 1941 on CBS.
