Born in Sharon, Massachusetts 3/18/1902; died 9/16/1984 of heart failure in Prout's Neck, Maine. She was educated at Wellesley College and was a school teacher before she turned to acting and making her 1930 stage debut. Member of the cast on One Foot In Heaven for NBC-BLUE (1945). Cornelia Simmons on the CBS-TV soap, Search For Tomorrow (1951-1953).
