Marshall Matt Dillon is on his way to Dodge House to meet Mr Davis at two o’clock when he sees young Cullen being thrown out of the store. Jonas said he threw him out for trying to buy ammunition for the Cheyenne Indians. The Indians stole him from his mother eight years ago in Madison River but Matt told Jonas young Cullen was a white boy and lived back with his mother now. There were others in Dodge, too that didn’t like Cullen and referred to him as the little Indian boy.|
