The script was used on the Gunsmoke television series on June 23, 1956, and used again on radio May 10, 1958. Credits are the same for both broadcasts of this script, except the 1958 show credits Jack Moyles and does not credit John Dehner! Matt Dillon tries to remove the gun from a drunken Texas man in Dodge but the man resists and Dillon whacks him. Then the man’s friend tries to kill Dillon and ends up dead. Matt Dillon is warned that the man’s brother Howard Bewlough will be out to avenge his death.|
