Parsifal Butterball, an eastern newspaper editor, arrives in the Big Bend country, with a pretty low opinion of "The Modern West." Windy gets a couple of cowboys to pretend to be crooks and threaten Butterball, so he can rescue him. The cowboys turn out to be real crooks. It all began when J Percible Butterball an editor from a big eastern newspaper arrived in Big Ben. All the local reporters went to see him and heard him give his opinion of the west. He said that “the modern west was nothing but a fraud and that the men of the west were nothing but a bunch of four legged buffoons”. Windy wants to teach him that the men of the west are not to be fooled with.|
