Almost since the West was first settled there have been Range wars between small farmers who came to till the land. Nesters they are called and cattlemen who demand the land be used only for grazing their herds. Until now Paradise Valley has been free of such trouble but during the last few years more and more Nesters have settled one rich portion near the foothills and ill feelings are rising.
