The program idea was subsequently used on, "The CBS Radio Workshop" on April 27, 1956 (see cat. #4919). Jack Lescooly disc jockey receives phoned in song requests and shortly afterwards there are robberies on streets whose names correspond with a word in the title of the songs. Blackie’s sure that the songs are being used to broadcast instructions to a gang of thieves. |
