An absolute legend. The perfect Gildy, but I also LOVE The Harold Peary Show (Honest Harold) which is so endearing!!

Sometime in the seventies I wrote Hal Peary a fan letter and told him how much I enjoyed his performance and that for me he was the "real" Gildersleeve and he was my Uncle Gildy. He sent me a nice reply and an autographed 8x10. Sadly I lost them in Hurricane Andrew.
