Spoiler : I gave this program five stars mostly for sentimental reasons, if I'm honest. I had just started my first radio job in late '64 as a "staff announcer" at an NBC affiliate station. One weekend evening, to my delight, this program was fed down the line for broadcast. Being an old time radio fan before it was old time, I loved every minute of this anthology program. Besides the content of the show, I liked the fact that, except for voicing a station ID or two during it, I was free to sit back and enjoy it -- and got paid to do so ($1.65 an hour as I recall).
