Spoiler : You're right... blade runner was way better in book form. All those rainy noir scenes and sound fx really padded it out. And, it should have been in black and white probably... if they were going to torture us with all that needless extra ambiance. And, it would also seem those big name actors from the 80s probably ruined everything too.

Spoiler : Way, way too much of the special effects! The story is best told in a simple narrative - and the very best narrative MUST include the line near the ending "There has to be a last time for everything" -(birrrr!) {As important as the near ending line of the movie Blade Runner "We don't know how much time we will have together WHO DOES?" (Wow!) Being "entertaining" doesn't always have to mean being fatuous, noisy, (You can tell bad theatre by how loud it is). Honest reality is salubrious; contrived "entertainment" is a waste of time.
