|Plot||:||+ "To Find Help". Sponsored by: Auto-Lite. An old woman is terrorized by a madman that she has hired as a handyman. The story was previously produced on "Suspense" on January 18, 1945. Mr. Armstrong is worried because Ella has hired a mysterious man who had been around earlier knocking on doors. He decides to wait around and check out the man for himself, but when he turns up Mr. Armstrong realizes he need not have worried as Howard Wilton is little more than a boy. However, Ella's dog takes an instant dislike to the young man and it isn't long before Ella starts to have second opinions herself. There is certainly something peculiar about Howard Wilton. + Mrs Gillis was pleased that she had found someone to do her heavy work but her lodger Mr Armstrong was worried and decided to delay leaving on his business trip to check him out, as he was concerned that Mrs Gillis was alone in the house with no neighbors nearby. When Mr Armstrong met the young man he was surprised to see Howard Wilton was a small meek looking young man and apologised for worrying Mrs Gillis. However Mrs Gillis’s dog did not seem to like Wilton and the dog’s instinct may be a good one…|
