Four hundred years ago the conquistador’s searched here for the legendary Cities of Cibola, which were supposed to be built of pure gold. Modern legend tells us that Superstition Mountain guards the lost Dutchman Mine but no one can be sure for no man who has gone searching for it has come out alive.
