|Title||:||loves lovely counterfeit|
|Plot||:||+ "Love's Lovely Counterfeit". A good adaption of the story about the gangster who rises to the top on the coat-tails of a reform politician, a good part for James Cagney. The story was previously produced on "Suspense" on March 8, 1945. James Cain, The author of the original novel, speaks after the drama. + When such incompatible words as Counterfeit and Lovely found themselves together in the title of this story by James Cain they said a lot not only about the story but about the men, Ben Grace as well. Elements of both words crowded through him. On the one side for example was his dislike for meanness and greed and on the other side something forged, fictitious and false. Written by: James M. Cain|
