|Plot||:||+ CBS net origination, AFRTS rebroadcast. "Drive-In". Hamburgers and a murderer-to-go. The story was previously produced on "Suspense" on January 11, 1945 and November 21, 1946. + It was a rainy night the night that she let Ruth talk her in to serving the last customer that came in near midnight. When she leant in to the car to give him his order she felt something wet on her hand, something wet and red like blood. The customer said he was a doctor and had just attended a serious accident. When she was concerned about missing her last bus home he offered to take her to the bus stop. It wasn’t something that she normally did, accepting lifts from customers and she hesitated before she got in to his car but he seemed such a nice looking man. If only she had trusted her initial instinct she would not be in the car of a stranger in fear of her life... Produced, directed and introduced by: William N. Robson|
