|Plot||:||Dean confesses to his captor, Mr. Thorpe, the reason why he has murdered a woman. He also explains why he must get a flower from the grave of the woman. The living tends to remember the dead in symbolic ways, for them this is more important instead of assuming what happens in the afterlife. But the most intriguing question is why does Dean need to remember his victim? + It is the funeral of Alice and Dean, her confessed murderer has been allowed out of prison for the day escorted by Mr Thorpe. Dean loved Alice, the wife of his dead best friend and had promised her that he would remove a flower from her grave. As he walks along cemetery road he tells Mr Thorpe the story of Alice and the reason that he killed her and why he must remove a flower from her grave…|
