Been a LONG time since I've heard this one. I paid a LOT more attention to it this time. It kind of makes you nervous after awhile hearing the same phrases repeated over and over in frenetic fashion. Hard to feel sorry for the scientist on a few levels... running away from serving his country, treating his wife with his shrill and horrible manners, and abusing the kid assistant by making him work like a slave. They did paint a great picture of the worms. Man, I'd love to have seen a version of this played out in a TV show like Tales From the Crypt or Tales From the Darkside. Just to see the ground moving with the giant worms underneath would make your skin crawl! If you haven't heard this one, it's definitely worth a click and listen...
