What an interesting observation to make! But most great art - and I include the top radio broadcasts in that category - has a tinge of sadness to it since it reflects on our deeply flawed world. You have got me thinking. What could Space Odyssey have been like with its shiny optimism tempered with something like Harrison Ford's cynical voice over from Blade Runner? Be an interesting mash-up if nothing else.
