Spoiler : Cathryn Cragen (spelled "Cathryn" not "Catherine") was a radio voice actress who also appeared in several episodes of "Cavalcade of America" between 1941 and 1944. In 1946 Cathryn was selected to portray the Dick Tracy character "Christmas Early" as a female disc jockey on KLAC. She used this radio character in several other stations in Hawaii, Florida, South Carolina, and Washington state. Cathryn and her husband William Murphy owned several radio stations between 1952 and 1974, and she was the director of women's programs at these stations. She died in 1979 in San Francisco.
