| Plot | : | + "Newshawk". A brash news reporter for a news service arrives in a small town to cover a mine disaster. Three miners and a nurse are trapped underground, but this is only a career opportinuty to the newsman. The program opening has been deleted. + Lou Clarke is a news reporter working for the news service. It's small town work, and he is a very ambitious reporter who wants to work on the big time newspapers. He's turned up at the town right in the midst of a disaster. There's been a terrible blast at the local mine which has trapped some folks below ground, but instead of being concerned for their welfare, Lou thinks this is a way for him to make his mark on the world. |
