Spoiler : I heard Alice and the Echo last night on XM radio and was blown away. What an astute parallel to how Nazism took hold in Germany and could take hold in America. For me, the most effective moment came when Alice's grandmother was talking to Mrs. Walker, who said that "we must keep down inferiors" and suddenly the echo would talk to her. When she asked the echo who it was and the echo responded "You" with a laugh I got chills. This was a beautifully written parable that is still relevant today, especially with the Fascist tone of the GOP presidential campaign.I'm glad I was able to hear it

Spoiler : Rae, you took the words right out of my mouth. I too was blown away by this gentle story that took a malevolent turn. The CBS Workshop stuff is of consistently high quality. Glad to know someone else appreciates it.
