My father wrote both a column "Interesting If True" and the daily editorial in the Havana Post. A large English language paper in Havana. They met when Hemingway called him to ask him how he was able to write so much copy every day. They were very much the same kind of men. Rough, fearless, writers,hunters, fisherman, boxers etc. Scott was a British Commando and MI-5 agent. He broke up a Nazi spy ring in Panama that was supplying German U-Boats. He lived in Cuba for over 10 years. In 1960 he was jailed and deported by Fidel. He was an NBC correspondent most of his career.
