|Title||:||case of the black gladstone bag|
|Plot||:||+ Whitehall 1212. March 23, 1952. A black Gladstone bag in the Black Museum is the exhibit from a 1924 murder. Stained with blood, the trail leads to a dismal cottage in Eastbourne and a dapper little salesman. Part of the final public service announcement and the system cue have been deleted. For the first time, Scotland Yard opens its secret files to bring us the authentic true stories of some of its most famous cases. The title comes from the emergency telephone number in use at the time, and the series was introduced by Chief Superintendent Davidson, curator of the Crime Museum – more commonly known as the “Black Museum” - at Scotland Yard, London, England. The “Gladstone” bag had been in Black Museum since 1924. It’s owner no longer needed it, since he’d used the services of Pierrepoint – the Hangman !|
