This afternoon, I stumbled across this '50s OTR private-eye show, "That Strong Guy". Since it is ultra-obscure, I didn't have high expectations. But, I decided to try the first episode, "Bottle of Death". I was surprised. It was pretty good. Neat plot twist, near the end -- similar to something that you'd hear on Suspense, or the Whistler.
