Angie Dickinson was very sexy and a very underrated actress...But I watched that episode of "Police Story" that introduced her character (by a different name), and it was obviously written for an actress in her early twenties. (She was 42 when it was filmed.) The fact that Ms. Dickinson made it work is a testament to her skills as an actress.

Oh yeah! The Carson interview! I was still a teenager...Johnny Carson asked her 'Do you dress for women or for men? She replied 'Well, I dress for women and undress for men'...Carson's expression was priceless!

I remember she was on a Johnny Carson show one night during the years she was on that show. She was so drunk or stoned you could not even understand what she was talking about. I remember how Johnny reacted to it. He was a class act.
