In 1950, an unsuccessful attempt was made, to create a radio show featuring "Mr. Kitzel", a character from the Jack Benny show. Basically, heavy-handed ethnic humor. This is an audition episode. In place of commercials, they beg for sponsors to sign up -- including in a jingle. .

"Heavy Handed?" Hey! The number of good Jewish comedians doing openly ethnic "Jewish" humor was large and, justifiably, appreciated by all.

Late night talk show hosts often have Jewish comedians as guests...Don Rickles was a good example...his crude, bombastic humor was great if you like Borsch Belt humor....the same for Jerry Lewis.

As a Jew the only thing I found wrong with this pilot was that it was't very funny
