Starring Brian Reece as P.C.49, and Joy Shelton as his girlfriend. Written by Alan Stranks. Producer Vernon Harris. It's a light-hearted precursor to later police-based series such as "Dixon of Dock Green". Recorded on acetate discs which only held 10-minutes per side, it needed three sides (i.e. two discs) to store each broadcast: sometimes only one of the two discs survives, so that only one-third or two-thirds of the episode remains. Please move this from 'Adventure' to 'Crime', as this is a police drama.
