Second wife was dancer Kate Harkin, Mostel and Harkin are the parents of actor Josh Mostel. Regular performer on The Chamber Music Society Of Lower Basin Street for NBC-Radio (?-?); The CBS Radio Mystery Theater for CBS-Radio (1974-1977). Guest star on television's syndicated series, The Muppet Show in 1976.
