Born in Ypsilanti, Michigan 2/6/1878; died 1/25/1953. Educated at The University of Michigan. During his career, he worked at newspapers including The Detroit Evening News and The New York Tribune and Evening Post. He was a teacher at Columbia University, and was the author of several books.
