Reorganized the New York Symphony (1903); stayed until it merged with The New York Philharmonics (1927). Symphony orchestra conductor debut on radio (1925); joined NBC-Radio (1926); conductor on The National Symphony Orchestra for NBC (1926-1929). Creator-conductor-producer for The Music Appreciation Hour on NBC-BLUE (1928-1942). Music director for NBC-Radio (1942-1946).
