Blaufuss, Walter Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin 7/26/1883; died 8/23/1945 in Chicago, Illinois. After attending Chicago Musical College, he formed his orchestra in 1911. The Walter Blaufuss Orchestra and His Homesteaders Orchestra provided music for NBC-BLUE radio programs including The Farm And Home Hour beginning in the early 30's, Vic And Sade (1932-1945), The Breakfast Club (1933-1942), and the syndicated radio program, Refreshment Club (1936-1937).
