She was such a good actress. But her personal problems and marriage to Yul Brynner made bad chemistry for her. She does a wonderful job in "Talk, Dark and Handsome " opposite Cesar Romero.

Born in El Monte, California 7/26/1919; died 3/28/1986 of emphysema in Santa Barbara, California. Married and divorced to actor-writer-director Yul Brynner (1946-1960). Mother of actor-writer Rock Brynner. Screen debut in Winter Carnival (1939). Broadway debut in Those Endearing Young Charms (1943). Star of "Friend of the Family," the first teleplay presented on Fireside Theatre for NBC 4/5/1949.
