Spoiler : Born in Akron, Ohio 10/11/1911; died 5/21/1973 in Stuart, Florida. Married to Marian Baughman (?-?). He studied music and instruments as a teenager, then attended Carnegie Tech School of Music, and The New England Conservatory Of Music. He was a singer in bands of Larry Funk and Jack Marshard before forming his own band in 1940. He became known as, "The Man With Muscles On His Tonsils." His orchestra played at many hotels and clubs, especially Seiler's Robin Hood's Ten Acres located in Wayland, Massachusetts. Later, Monroe was owner of The Meadows located in Framingham, Massachusetts. He was a recording artist on Bluebird and RCA Victor record labels.
