She studied at the University of Michigan and Cornell University, then moved to New York studying acting at the Actors Studio while working as a model for illustrators. Screen debut with an uncredited role in Outside the Wall (1950). Last movie was Sam Whiskey (1969). Television actress from the middle 1950s until the middle 1960s. Director for television including the syndicated 1980 serial, The Life and Times of Eddie Roberts.

Spoiler : Roberts left acting in the 1960s to become an acting teacher and director. She founded the Tracy Roberts Actors Studio, where she produced and directed plays including Ray Bradbury's The Wonderful Ice Cream Suit, Shadowlands and An Evening With Clifford Odets.
