Spoiler : Born in Kearny, New Jersey 4/18/1918; died 8/9/2004 of complications from double pneumonia and a stroke in Denville, New Jersey. Motola began his career in 1936 in the band of George Hall. Staff guitarist at CBS-New York (1938). Made his recording 1941 debut in duets with Carl Kress.

Emmy Award for scoring the documentary film, "Two Childhoods," about Hubert Humphery and James Baldwin. He had toured and performed with Frank Sinatra from 1980 to his 1988 retirement.
