Music conductor on radio programs including Broadway Matinee; Doctor Rockwell's Brain Trust; If I Had The Chance; New Faces of 1948; Poly Follies; The Schaefer Summertime Revue; So You Think You Know Music. He conducted music for his own 1939 NBC-BLUE program which featured vocalists Glenn Darwin and Karen Temple. Music conductor on the RCA Thesaurus transcribed program called The Symphony of Melody. Orchestra leader for The Milton Berle Show TV (1948-1955).

Born in St. Louis, Missouri 6/11/1904; died 10/30/1972 of a heart attack in Pennsylvania. He began his music career at age fourteen, and went on to conduct for St. Louis theaters, and for three years was music director for KMOX, which was the CBS network owned stations in St. Louis. Later he migrated to New York where he was music director for NBC.
