Novins, Stuart (birth name was Neuman Stuart Novins) Born in Boston, Massachusetts 3/30/1914; died 12/7/1989 of respiratory failure in Middlebury, Vermont. CBS newsman from 1939 until 1975. During his long career with CBS, he was a foreign correspondent from the four corners of the globe, and was anchor for its nightly newscasts.
