Lawrence, Steve (Sidney Liebowitz) Born in Brooklyn, New York 7/8/1935. Married singer Eydie Gorme in 1957. Lawrence studied saxophone and piano, then began singing in his father's choir until age eleven, by age 14 was singing in a synagogue. Prize winner on Arthur Godfrey's Talent Scouts for CBS-TV (1951).
