Spoiler : Born in Smithton, Pennsylvania 3/31/1934. Married to singer-actor Jack Cassidy (1956-1973 his death); Marty Ingels (1977-current). Miss Pittsburgh of 1952. Screen debut in Oklahoma (1955). Shirley Partridge on The Partridge Family for ABC-TV (1970-1974). Shirley Miller on Shirley for NBC-TV (1979-1980).

Spoiler : Shirley Jones (born March 31, 1934) is an Oscar winning actress, equally adept at dramas, comedies and musicals which showcased her lovely singing voice. She came to fame in Rodgers & Hammerstein's musical "Oklahoma!" (1955) and followed that up the following year with R & H's "Carousel" (1956). She had another big musical hit with 1962's "The Music Man" (Best Picture Oscar nomination). Two other musicals included "April Love" (1957) and "Never Steal Anything Small" (1959) opposite James Cagney.

Spoiler : Shirley won her Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for "Elmer Gantry" (1960) co-starring Burt Lancaster.
