Born in Lancaster, Missouri 1/31/1872; died 9/9/1956 of heart failure in Los Angeles, California. Father of Rush Hughes. Uncle of director Howard Hughes. Wrote a novel titled, Static," that was adapted to the NBC-Radio soap, The Story of Holly Sloan (1947-1948).
