Bampton, Rose Born in Cleveland, Ohio 11/28/1908. Died 8/21/2007 in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. Married to contuctor Wilfrid Pelletier (1937-1982 his death). Bampton studied music at the Curtis Institute of Music and Drake University. She began her career in 1929. She made her Metropolitan Opera debut on November 28, 1932, and went on to be an internationally known opera star and RCA recording artist.
