Born in Butler, Montana 7/7/1907; died 5/8/1988 in Carmel, California. First story was published in a 1938 issue of Astounding Science Fiction. Wrote the novel, Space Cadet that was adapted to, Tom Corbet, Space Cadet on the NBC, CBS, ABC, and DuMont Television Networks (1950-1955) and ABC-Radio (1952).
