Spoiler : Born in St. Joseph, Missouri 11/25/1896; died 7/28/1966 in Iowa, Kansas. Attended the Kansas State University, and studied music at The American Musical College and Chicago Musical College. Maupin taught in the music department of Kansas State, and played in many bands before forming his own band.
