Born in Rome, Italy 10/30/1917; died 11/8/1970 in Sherman Oaks, California. Playwriter and actor in Italy before moving to America, and joining the MGM and RKO motion picture studios. Composer of several tunes including Buy A Bond For A Soldier For Christmas (official song of the 6th War Bond Drive during WWII).
