Spoiler : McKinley, Ray (Raymond Frederick McKinley) Born in Fort Worth, Texas 6/8/1910; died 5/7/1995 in Largo, Florida. McKinley began his career singing in Texas clubs, then was a vocalist and drummer for bands including the Dorsey Brothers Orchestra (1934-1939), Will Bradley. Vocalist on Will Bradley And His Orchestra for NBC-Radio (1940). Member of Glenn Miller's Army Air Force band during WWII (1943-1944). After Miller's disappeared over the English Channel in 12/1944, McKinley led the orchestra until 1946. Formed the Ray McKinley Orchestra (1946-1952), then again led The Glenn Miller Orchestra (1956-1965).
