Born in Chicago, Illinois 10/20/1920; died 11/4/1996 in Columbus, Ohio. Trum- peter with bands of Tommy Dorsey, Woody Herman, Boyd Raeburn, Artie Shaw and Jimmy Dorsey. Later formed his own band (Ray Linn And The Chicago Stompers).
