Born in New York City 11/14/1924. Married and divorced to actor-director Don Taylor (1945- 1954). Avery made her Broadway debut at age 16 in Charlie's Aunt with Jose Ferrer. Peggy McNulty on The Ray Milland Show for CBS-Radio (1953-1954); CBS-TV (1953-1955).
