Brother of beauty and style consultant Eleanor Nash. Nash attended St. George's Prep School in Newport, Rhode Island, then Harvard University for a year when he had to quit college to earn a living. He tried working as a Wall Street bond salesman, but he found out his calling was penning poems. Nash was the composer, writer and poet that created the saying, "Candy is dandy, but liquor is quicker."
