Spoiler : Born in Millbury, Massachusetts 1/2/1915; died 9/26/2000 in Los Angeles, California. Fatool began his career playing for pianist Joe Haymes in 1937. Swing-era drummer that replaced Lionel Hampton in Benny Goodman's band in 1938, staying with Goodman until the early 1940's, then he became a drummer for bands including Artie Shaw, Claude Thornhill and Alvino Rey until 1943 when he moved to Los Angeles where he was a studio musician, backing Louis Armstrong, Harry James and Jess Stacy. Drummer in Pete Kelly's Big Seven band on Pete Kelly's Blue for NBC-Radio (1951), again in the 1955 movie version of the radio program. Regular drummer on Bing Crosby TV show during the 1950's.
